In folk medicine, as well as in cosmetology, from the times of ancient Egypt to the present time people use castor oil. To improve the state of skin and weakened hair, a variety of recipes are used in which it is contained. Castor oil is made of Castor-oil plant seeds and is also used industrially in the manufacture of soap.In its composition castor oil contains a lot of acids. The main medicinal properties of castor oil depend on the number of ricinol, or as it is also called, ricinolein acid. In addition, the oil to different extents contains other acids: linoleic, stearic, oleic, palmitic. In cosmetology only well-refined from foreign inclusions oil is used. Because of this it becomes almost colorless or slightly yellowish.
Often, some beauticians refuse to use this oil because of its stable and not very pleasant smell. In addition, natural vegetable oils are difficult to wash off. Typically, using shampoo only once is not enough to wash away the castor oil and remove the smell. But if you have enough free time, you will be able to properly value the effect of its application.
